The Pleasure Garden’s Pet Cemetery
A wonderful story by the late Doris Williams, illustrated by Charlie Yeates, tells of the final resting place of Mickey, the Mason family dog who was tragically killed by a tank at Stanmer in 1941. The Pet Cemetery of the Pelham’s of Stanmer House became the last resting place for Mickey; a beloved dog of Alfred Mason, Head Gardener and his children.
