A repeat of the first event to celebrate 50 Years of Stanmer Preservation Society is happening this weekend.
The Donkey Wheel Wellhouse will be open for a visit, and in the SPS bookstore in the village you can see our Imperia sock knitting machine in action (YouTube video), Vintage textiles, Bric-a-Brac, Book Shop, Sewing, Spinning and Weaving displays and demonstration, Knitting the Map display and Flax processing plus much more.

Come visit us in Stanmer Village on Saturday 18th September or Sunday 19th September from 1pm until 4pm. The Craft Museum next to the Old Stable Block has displays from talented local artists as part of the Lewes Artwave trail and is well worth a visit, as is the One Garden which is looking its best after a challenging summer for us all. There are many other activities in the area over the weekend, so do check travel details before you leave.
