Hazel
Lindy Brook Tweed

On Saturday 23rd April you are invited to take a stroll through Stanmer Park with Pat Childerhouse ( story teller ) Tony Spiers
( botanist ) and Lindy Brook Tweed ( Stanmer Preservation Society ) to meet some trees, hear stories inspired by them and to hear some facts about them.

We’ll meet at 11am by the Donkey Well House ( opposite the 78 bus stop near Stanmer Church ).
We’ll stop in places by trees for a story and information so bring a situpon ( piece of bubble wrap is good ) or a camping stool.
The route will be about 2 kms and take us up gentle slopes, uneven ground, roots and possibly some muddy places but generally accessible for all and possibly users of all terrain wheel chairs.
Children and dogs ( on leads ) welcome.
We aim to finish at approx 1pm.

The 78 bus leaves Brighton at 10.17 and return buses are every hour.
The 25 bus will take you to the park entrance with a 20 min walk through the park.
The train station is Falmer with a 25 minute walk to the church.
Car parking is in the Patchway near the One Garden.
There are refreshments and toilets available in the village.
We look forward to seeing you.
