Kite Festival

Organised by the Brighton Kite Flyers http://brightonkiteflyers.co.uk/festival.html Stanmer Park hosts this wonderful colourful kite festival in the summer. It is always worth a visit to see impressive sights such as Indian and Rokkaku kites, sports kites and some of the biggest kites in the UK flying in the blue skies with the amazing trees as a backdrop. There is usually a children’s workshop where you can make then fly kites.  The event is free to attend but a donation towards funding the festival for following years is always greatly appreciated.
