Save Stanmer's Footpaths

Save Stanmer Gardens Footpath!
We are sending this extra bulletin because of an urgent need: to save access to the long-established footpath through the gardens of Stanmer House.
Cherrywood Investments have gained planning permission to fence/wall in the entire garden around Stanmer House.
We are fighting to ensure the foot path that runs through the garden is kept open, from the Italian gates to the woods beyond. The only way to do this is to have the path put on the definitive map. If you would like to save this much loved and used path, you just need to:
- fill in a public evidence form
- print it out and take it or send it to:
Stanmer Park
Brighton and Hove
East Sussex
BN1 9PZ
Forms are available at
- Public Evidence Form (PDF)
- new SPS HQ, the workshop opposite the tearooms, on a Sunday afternoon
With your help we can save this much-loved footpath for future generations.
